QuillPrint does not set print prices. Configure your document, compare the shops available to you, and review the complete order total for the shop you choose.

Shops set the rates
Each print shop publishes its own black-and-white and colour rates, and its own charges for binding, paper and delivery.

Your choices set the volume
Pages, copies, colour, sides and paper decide how much printing the shop’s rate is applied to.

Once the document is configured and a shop is selected, you review the complete order total before paying anything.

What changes your total
Some of these are set by the shop, and some are entirely your choice. Both are visible before you pay.
The shop you choose
This is the biggest factor. Every shop publishes its own black-and-white and colour rates, and its own charges for anything extra.
Colour or black and white
Colour pages cost more than black-and-white pages at every shop. Marking only the pages that need colour usually costs less than setting the whole document to colour.
Single-sided or double-sided
Double-sided printing uses fewer sheets, which normally brings a long document down.
Pages and copies
Your page selection and copy count set the volume being printed, the number the rate is applied to.
Paper size and pages per sheet
Paper size affects the rate, and fitting several pages on one sheet reduces the sheet count.
Binding and add-ons
Binding, photo paper and other finishing are priced by the shop that provides them, and appear only where that shop offers them.
Pickup or delivery
Pickup is the default. Delivery may add a charge, and is offered only by participating shops for the locations they serve.
Wallet and coupons
A Wallet balance can be applied in full or in part at checkout, and a valid coupon is applied when one is available for the order.
A worked example
The document below is identical in both cases. Only the shop is different, which is precisely why QuillPrint shows you the comparison instead of one headline price.
The figures on the right are an illustration of how the calculation works. They are not live rates and not a quotation. Your own comparison is generated from the shops actually available to you.

Paying for an order
Whichever method you use, the amount you are paying is the complete total for the shop you selected, shown to you before the payment step, not after it.
There is no subscription and no joining fee. You pay for the print orders you place.

Some shops enable payment at the counter. It appears as an option only on those shops.

Because there is no single price to publish. Each shop on QuillPrint sets its own rates, so a per-page figure on this page would be wrong for most shops. Instead, you configure the document, compare the shops available to you, and see the real total for the shop you select before you pay.
Before payment. Once your documents are configured and you have selected a shop, the complete order total for that shop is shown, including the print cost and any add-ons or delivery charge that apply.
No. There is no subscription and no membership fee. You pay for the print orders you place, and nothing else.
Print double-sided, mark only the pages that genuinely need colour rather than the whole document, use pages per sheet where the output is still readable, and compare the shops available to you, their rates differ.
